Installation of steam and hot-water boilers is a critical stage in setting up heating systems and process heat supply. The quality of installation determines the reliability, safety, and efficiency of the entire boiler room. Work stages:
1. Project and equipment preparation
Analysis of the project, selection of equipment by parameters (capacity, pressure, efficiency), verification of technical requirements, coordination with the customer.
2. Site preparation
Layout and reinforcement of the foundation, installation of the base for the boiler (if necessary), checking of ventilation, chimney, power supply, and communications.
3. Delivery and installation of the boiler
Unloading, moving the equipment into the building. Precise installation on the foundation in compliance with regulations and manufacturer’s instructions.
4. Piping installation
Connection of supply and return pipes for water or steam, installation of shut-off and control valves, safety valves, and measuring instruments.
5. Installation of control and automation systems
Connection of control panels, sensors, safety systems, and integration with external engineering networks.
6. Commissioning works
Flushing of the system, filling with heat carrier, burner start-up, adjustment of operating modes, full testing.
7. Testing and commissioning
Leak and performance testing, documentation, staff instruction, and handover of the ready system to the customer.
